  • [Erledigt] Error Mail() function

    Guten tach ertmal.
    Ich ordne mich einfach mal selber zu den Newbies ein um nich den groll der Wissenden auf mich zu ziehen.

    Also, mein Problem ist, das ich nen Server mit statischen und dynamischen Websites Administrieren soll, was ja an sich kein Problem ist. Nur stoß ich immer wieder auf nen Fehler.
    Die dynamischen Seiten werden von unseren Webbastlern über Typo3 betreut und besitzen meistens ein Standart Mail-Formular oder oder nen Shop wo ich den Mail account auch brauch.
    Ich benutz Sendmail als Mailer und es läuft noch php 4.3.4, mysql 4.0.18 und apache2 2.0.49.

    An sich funktioniert auch alles, nur wenn ich versuche aus Typo3 die Testmail, oder aus irgend einer der anderen Seiten ein Mail, zu verschicken, gibts folgende Fehlermeldung
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mail() in /verzeichnissname/public_html/typo3_src-3.7.0/t3lib/class.t3lib_htmlmail.php on line 614.

    Und damit niemand denkt ich komm hier einfach her und stell dumme Fragen ohne vorher selber zu suchen (ich les seit drei Tagen nur Forum posts, man pages und FAQ sowie howto´s) , hier mal noch die ausgabe von php -i -m

    Ist für mich nur verwunderlich, da die Mailfunkt. in der php-pear extension steckt welche ich mit einkompiliert habe (musste es leider über yast tun); die aber von meiner php.ini nicht geladen wird und die ich auch nich in dem extension Verzeichniss finden kann.

    Ich ordne mich einfach mal selber zu den Newbies ein um nich den groll der Wissenden auf mich zu ziehen.
    Gute Lösung. Schlecht dabei ist, daß Du keine CODE Tags genommen hast.

    Ich benutz Sendmail als Mailer und es läuft noch php 4.3.4, mysql 4.0.18 und apache2 2.0.49.

    gibts folgende Fehlermeldung
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mail()
    Das ist ein bekannter SuSE Bug. Mach mit Yast ein Update ( -> PHP ).
