Hallo zusammen,

ich suche die Lösung für folgendes Problem. Auf einen Root-Server habe ich MySQL 5.0 installiert. Nun wollte ich mit Hilfe von phpMyAdmin 2.8.0.2 die ganze Geschichte verwalten. Bis jetzt habe ich es nicht geschafft diese miteinander zu verknüpfen. Nun brauche ich professionelle Hilfe, eure.

Was braucht ihr für Angaben?

Kann mir wer eine Schritt für Schritt Anleitung machen?

Woran genau scheiterst du?

Nicht böse gemeint, aber manchmal frage ich mich wirklich, warum sich manche Leute einen Root-Server mieten und dann schon an solchen Sachen scheitern. Da ist die Gefahr doch riesengroß, dass die komplette Konfiguration und Absicherung nichts Vernünftiges wird.

Hast du eventuell Confixx oder ein ähnliches Tool installiert? Dann sollte phpMyAdmin schon installiert sein. Einfach mal die Platte absuchen.

MySQL 5 habe ich ganz normal installiert, dann den Configuration Wizard ausgeführt und Root Passwort vergeben.

phpMyAdmin habe ich entpackt und in den Hompageordner im Unterordner "MyAdmin" kopiert.

Wenn ich jetzt http://localhost/MyAdmin aufrufe erhalte ich folgendes:

Die Erweiterung mysql kann nicht geladen werden. Bitte ??ie Ihre PHP-Konfiguration. - Dokumentation

Confixx oder ein ähnliches Tool (k.a. welches du meinst) ist nicht installiert. Apache und php 5 habe ich zum laufen gebracht. MySQL ist als Dienst auch aktiv, nur die Verwaltung von MySQL macht mir eben Schwierigkeiten. Aber dafür gibt es doch Foren und denk mal an deinen Anfang, wie hast du angefangen? War es nicht auch so, einer der sich auskennt (auch wenn Lehrer) brachte dir etwas bei! Naja, vielleicht warst du auch von beginn so klug.

Ich habe gelesen, gelesen und wieder gelesen. Und immer wieder experimentiert, aber eben nicht auf einem Root-Server.
Nein, auch ich musste lernen. Allerdings bin ich nicht auf die Idee gekommen, mit einem gefährlichen Halbwissen einen Root-Server zu mieten.

Was für ein Betriebssystem hat der Server? Was sagt phpinfo()?

Bei deinem PHP ist weder die MySQL- noch die MySQLi-Erweiterung installiert, so dass du dich mit PHP überhaupt nicht zur Datenbank verbinden kannst. Das solltest du erst einmal nachholen.

Ich habe MySQL 5 von http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html heruntergeladen (Windows (x86)) und das Setup gestartet. Dann noch den "MySQL Server Instance Config Wizard" gestartet. Als Dienst ist es ja auch installiert!

Wie installiere ich denn die MySQL- und MySQLi-Erweiterung?

Bitte beschreibe doch das etwas genauer! @ xabbuh

zu:Das # habe ich vor php_mysql.dll, in der Datei php.ini, entfernt.
Die Datei libmysql.dll habe ich in den Windowsordner kopiert.
